In response to the situation, the police seized the hotel's registry and gave a 24-hour ultimatum for all the young guests to produce their Aadhar cards.

The incident took place near the railway bridge on Kachaura Road, where the hotel, named Anubhav, is managed by Manoj Kumar, son of Shyam Sundar, a resident of Nagla Harju, Itawa. The police had received information about an attempted robbery on Saturday night, which led to their investigation. During this investigation, they discovered 10 boys and girls in the hotel rooms. After taking their names down, the police allowed them to leave.
